napola (3)

registers every shade

on the spectrum

dis-

arranged from

disquiet

through disaffection

disenchantment

disillusion

into the dark

stops at every station

on the route to self-

destruction

     dissent

     disdain

     disgust

till he

     draws

     into

     the terminus

dares to desist

     decry

     defy

resolves to resist

so deliberate

that downward glance

signals such decision

sinks softly

slips swiftly

             into

             the deep

distressed

distraught

disconsolate

             to the

             ultimate disengagement

and the ultimate release
